ALLIGATOR CLIP TEST LEAD ADAPTOR  -  An adaptor that fits on the pin tips on test leads. Very convenient for hooking to to a connection without having to hold the lead with your finger. Minimizes potential for shock and insures a good connection. $5 for a pair, postpaid.


AMMETER ADAPTOR - Used for measuring AC amperage drawn by a radio under test.  Use with your normal VOM, VTVM that isn't capable of measuring AC Amps.  Installed in a Navy Blue minibox, radio plugs directly into the box and the box plugs into the AC source.  Two terminals where your meter plugs in.  Reads 0-1 Amp AC, Fused.  $12.50

MY LATEST PRODUCT IS THE "SLO-START" KIT, a slow turn on device combined with an AC ammeter.    The "Slo-Start"starts at 60-70 volts and ends up at about 10% less than the incoming line voltage after 90 seconds or so - a great feature when working on old radios.  The line voltage is read on an included meter until a load is attached.  Afterwards the same meter reads the output voltage.  The amperage is read on a separate meter on the lowest scale equating to 1 volt=1 amp.  The unit is fused at 1.25 amperes and a spare fuse is included.  The cost is $21.00 POSTPAID, about half of what other units sell for even without the ammeter option.

   "CEASE & DESIST" CONTACT CLEANER -  My latest find is a super contact cleaner for copper and brass contacts that you can mix at home.  It consists of OLEIC ACID mixed with standard Coleman Fuel.  Oleic acid is an organic acid found in things like cocoa and olive oil and not considered dangerous.  It is used for many things in industry ranging from lubricants to cosmetics to food flavorings.
My recommended mix with the Coleman fuel (naptha) or regular lighter fluid is 5%.  You may also add acetone to speed up the drying time.  Due to shipping restictions I cannot supply the fuel but I make the oleic acid available for you to make up a one quart supply.  Try it, I'm sure you will be surprised. - $8.00 Postpaid.

CONTACT CLEANER ADAPTER - This is a custom-made device that can be screwed onto the front bushing of a sealed pot to inject contact cleaner - $8.00

CONTACT CLEANER SPRAY BOTTLE - I also have available a plastic spray bottle that will hold up to 250 ml of the contact cleaner mixture.  It is unique in that it has a very fine stream, perfect for application of the cleaner.  It is small and fits nicely into tight places.  If you can't find your own locally then this might be ideal - $2.00

REGENERATIVE RADIO KIT - Would you (or your kids or grandkids) like to "return to the thrilling days of yesteryear?" Here is a kit with everything you need to build a Regenerative Radio -  tube socket, tube, regeneration control,  wire, hookup wire, knobs, grid leak and capacitor, all screws, terminal strip, etc. You will need to provide a chassis or breadboard,  headphones, a "D" cell and five "9 volt" transistor batteries to make it work. WOODEN BASE -  A solid walnut block 4 x 6 inches x 3/4" thick with chamfered edge.  Green felt supplied for the bottom.  You finish sand, and coat one or two times with Watco Danish Oil or Deft Clear Wood Finish.  Dries in about 30 Minutes.  Coat bottom with Elmer's glue and place on felt.  When dry trim felt to size.  Use as a base for 1 or 2 display  tubes, a crystal detector, wave trap or anything you might want to mount.  $10.00 postpaid.
